Sorry we have been away for a couple of weeks. We have been watching a lot of volleyball. Just to name a few: big Keystone Juniors tournament (that had all of the great teams in the area including a couple of teams from Delaware), leagues have wrapped up, and playoffs finished or underway.  All this being said we have a lot of movement in the top 10!

1. Mother Of Divine Providence              Winner of Keystone juniors tournament defeating St Eleanor's

2. St Eleanor                                       Runner up in Keystone juniors tournament                                   

3. Mary Mother Redeemer                    Cruising through region 20 and strong showing at Keystone tournament losing in quarter finals with a significant injury

4. Villa Maria Academy                         Region 17 Champion strong showing all year                                     

5. PJP II                                              Semi Finalist at Keystone Tourney and in the top 3 out of region 17

6. St Elizabeth                                     2nd place team out of region 17                                  

7. Sash                                               Semi-finalist at St Alphonsos tournament and in the big dance from region 20

8. St Joe's Aston                                   Strong showing at Keystone tournament

9. St Dot's                                           Cruising through region 25 took a game from PJP II and played MDP tough at Keystone tourney

10. OLHC                                             Winner of region 11

Good luck to everyone in their regional championships and the Archdiocesan tournament. Pat and I have seen a big improvement in the quality of CYO volleyball. Most girls serve overhand, teams use 3 hits or try to just about all the time, and you can see the basics of a system coming together. We are thankful for all the coaches (the pay isn't great) and parents for their commitment to improving the sport of volleyball's reach in the community and CYO. Club tryouts are this weekend and we hope that your daughters continue their training by playing club ball for whatever club they choose.
